Position Overview

Acquisition Analyst

OMNI is seeking an experienced Acquisition Analyst to provide strategic support and analytics for Command-level acquisition activities at El Segundo, CA. This role will focus on cost, schedule, performance, budget, and programmatic support to assist with Command policy, guidance, planning, and execution. The analyst will ensure compliance with federal acquisition directives and provide actionable insights to senior decision-makers.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic acquisition support across cost, schedule, performance, budget, and programmatic functions.

  • Develop, review, and refine planning documents including Acquisition Strategies, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and contractual requirements related to cost, Earned Value Management (EVM), and budget compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable directives and guidance such as:

    • OMB Circular A-11

    • DAFMAN 65-605

    • Financial Management Regulations (FMR)

    • FAR and DFARS

    • DoDI 5000 Series

    • AFI 63-101/20-101

    • SMCI 63-107

    • GAO, OSD, Air Force, and SSC applicable guides

  • Conduct detailed analyses and document findings in deliverables (e.g., SDRL A004, B004).

  • Collaborate with program offices and stakeholders to align acquisition strategies with mission requirements.

 

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in DoD acquisition support or a related field, ideally within Air Force or Space Systems Command (SSC).

  • Hands-on experience with CCaR, CRIS, and DEAMS (at least one system required; experience with all is preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and EVM principles.

  • Proven ability to analyze complex acquisition issues and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing acquisition documentation and reports.

 Clearance Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • U.S. citizenship required.
