Location: Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CA
Salary Range: $130,000 – $175,000 (commensurate with experience)
In-Office Requirement: 3–5 days per week, with flexibility to adjust based on government needs
OMNI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Acquisition Support Analyst to provide programmatic integration and administrative expertise in support of the U.S. Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC). This role is critical to ensuring efficient acquisition and program operations through effective task coordination, leadership support, and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of DoD and USSF acquisition policies, proven expertise in program integration, and strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to advance SSC’s mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage recurring taskers, stakeholder engagements, and leadership deadlines.
Build and maintain MS Teams/SharePoint platforms for knowledge management, communication, and collaboration.
Conduct weekly branch meetings and prepare actionable updates for leadership.
Maintain administrative deliverables including organizational charts, distribution lists, compliance, and reporting.
Lead process improvement initiatives, supporting transitions through system and organizational changes.
Strategic Planning & Communication
Prepare and deliver bullet background papers, POM/SBE analysis, and responses to RFIs.
Draft and coordinate Strategic Communication Plans for program milestones.
Support preparation and execution of high-visibility briefings and events, including PMRs and Staffer Days.
Collaborate with leadership to align program strategies with mission objectives.
Meeting & Event Support
Schedule and facilitate meetings (in-person and virtual) for leadership, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
Plan and execute offsites, ceremonies, summits, and other leadership-directed events.
Develop agendas, capture action items, and track follow-ups to ensure accountability.
Training & Development
Coordinate training initiatives to strengthen team readiness and professional development.
Enhance onboarding and workforce development through process improvements.
Track and report training completion and milestones for leadership awareness.
Acquisition Oversight
Review and evaluate acquisition documentation for readability and DoD compliance.
Provide recommendations to improve acquisition processes and program execution.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in acquisition support, program management, or related DoD/federal roles.
Strong background in program integration, business operations, and process improvement.
Active Secret clearance required.
Skills and Competencies
In-depth understanding of DoD acquisition policies and processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to lead and engage cross-functional teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
Proficient in MS 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with advanced skills in SharePoint and MS Teams.
Skilled in virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom) and conference room technology.
Preferred Attributes
Familiarity with DoD systems and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings.
