Title: Release Train Engineer (TEMPO)
Location: On-site at Beale AFB, CA
Position Overview
OMNI is seeking a highly skilled Release Train Engineer to provide programmatic, execution, and administrative support to Government Program Directors and Managers for ACAT-1 equivalent military acquisition programs. This position requires extensive acquisition, operational, and engineering expertise with a focus on the execution, integration, and oversight of complex, multi-domain command and control (C2) systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide programmatic and technical support for acquisition program management, ensuring effective execution and integration of complex defense systems.
Translate acquisition and operational priorities into actionable software development and integration plans.
Monitor system development and integration, track progress, communicate risks, and proactively resolve blockers to program success through a deep understanding of C2 systems.
Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation such as Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and technical evaluations.
Support mission integration and program office functions, including transitioning C2 systems to operations via Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Concept of Employment (CONEMPs).
Align system development with operational training and planning; provide guidance to PMOs and MAJCOMs on standing up operational squadrons.
Collaborate with corporate developers, government test units, and program offices to ensure seamless system-of-systems integration, including space segment contributions.
Conduct budget analysis, assist with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs, and analyze financial execution of assigned programs.
Provide leadership support in meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners and government organizations.
Travel as required (CONUS and OCONUS).
Job requirements
Required Education & Experience
Master’s degree in Science or Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting national security programs in engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management.
Agile software development
Clearance Requirements
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current or recent DoD SAP access.
Must be willing and able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
U.S. citizenship required
