Position Overview
OMNI is seeking an experienced Personnel Management Specialist to provide expert-level support in military human resources operations supporting U.S. Space Force (USSF) and U.S. Air Force (USAF) personnel programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of military personnel systems, task management tools, and HR processes related to assignments, evaluations, promotions, and duty management. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced military environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support for military personnel programs and human resources operations.
Manage personnel actions related to assignments, evaluations, promotions, stratifications, awards, and duty information management.
Utilize and maintain personnel data within military HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Monitor and process taskings using the Task Management Tool (TMT) while meeting established suspense timelines.
Analyze personnel data and generate reports to support leadership decision-making.
Coordinate with commanders, leadership, and cross-functional teams on personnel-related actions and requirements.
Ensure compliance with USAF/USSF personnel policies, procedures, and regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and documentation.
Job requirements
Minimum 7–9 years of direct USSF/USAF Human Resources experience.
Strong knowledge of military personnel programs and processes.
Experience using military personnel databases and systems, including:
MilPDS
MyFSS
BLSDM
Okta
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience utilizing Task Management Tool (TMT) for workflow and task tracking.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting Space Force or Air Force headquarters, deltas, or major command-level organizations.
Experience briefing leadership and preparing personnel metrics or reports.
