Job description

Position Title:  Jr Management and Program Analyst

Location: On-site in Washington D.C.

Clearance Requirement:  Active Top Secret required (TS/SCI preferred)

U.S. Citizenship required

The Management and Program Analyst analyze the data gathered and develop solutions and/or alternative methods of proceeding. Documents findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Knowledge and experience applying analytic methodologies and principles to address the needs of various Units and Sections. Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives and contributes to the implementation of strategic direction. The Management and Program Analyst support consists of Senior Management and Program Analyst, Intermediate Management and Program Analyst, and Junior Management and Program Analyst.

  • Review forms and reports and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and to
    identify problems and improvement

  • Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records and assure compliance with the program.

  • Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes of forms and reports.

  • Prepare manuals and train on use of new forms, reports, procedures, or equipment, according to organizational policy.

  • Gather and organize information on problems and procedures such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control and /or cost analysis.

  • Perform analyst functions including data collection, data modeling, project testing and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.

  • Conduct various activities in of support project team’s objectives, Senior Analyst and/or Project Managers.

  • Lead the application of analytic techniques and helps define project objectives and strategic direction. 

  • Responsible for providing leadership and vision to customers and project teams around methodology.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with two years or more years of
    analytical techniques and methodologies experience.  Educational requirements may be waived if the
    candidate has five or more years of experience and may be substituted for education.

  • Experience preparing/delivering briefings and presentations to management/executives

  • Excellent research and analytical skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint

  • Top Secret clearance is required
