Job description
The Electrical Engineer takes on a crucial role in the development and support of cutting-edge defense systems.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Be responsible for a wide array of tasks, including researching, planning, designing, and testing electrical components and systems.
- Play a pivotal role in establishing design concepts and criteria, and you'll be instrumental in producing essential engineering documentation, reports, and drawings to support various stages of product development.
- Tackle complex engineering challenges, identifying issues and recommending innovative solutions to enhance electrical products.
- Analyzing electronic circuits, conducting simulations, and proposing component substitutions or redesigns as needed.
- Contribute to improving existing designs, addressing obsolescence issues, and ensuring that all engineering activities adhere to design specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team, participate in program reviews, communicate with stakeholders, and provide valuable insights and analysis to enhance program activities.
Job requirements
5 years plus experience in designing, integrating, testing, and maintaining electrical systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong communication and analytical skills.
Possessing expertise in engineering concepts and processes, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to brief senior leadership and collaborate with stakeholders. U.S. citizenship and DoD Top Secret Clearance are required.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
