Job description
OMNI is seeking a Data Scientist with strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and dashboard development to support government projects. The ideal candidate will leverage Palantir Envision and related platforms to deliver actionable insights, build interactive dashboards, and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role also offers opportunities to contribute to AI initiatives and process automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract insights, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Palantir Envision (experience with Power BI or equivalent logic also applicable).
Collaborate with senior data scientists and government stakeholders to refine project goals and requirements.
Communicate analytical findings in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical audiences.
Support automation of workflows and processes using Power Automate.
Contribute to the development and leadership of AI-related initiatives.
Assist in modeling, data management, and the creation of data-driven solutions.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
Equivalent experience in dashboarding, data visualization, or applied analytics may be substituted for education.
Demonstrated experience in dashboard development and visualization tools (Palantir Envision, Power BI, or similar).
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools, especially Power Automate (or willingness to learn).
Interest or experience in AI/ML initiatives preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Palantir (Envision) for data modeling and dashboarding.
Experience with Power Platforms and workflow automation.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Must have a current Secret clearance
