Job description
Job Duties:
- Provide analysis of operations and support activities. This includes analysis of systems, processes, identification of potential improvements, and implementation of those improvements.
- Establish data analysis procedures, statistical methods, and routines.
- Link data sets from program risk profiles, program baselines, financial and/or grants data, Capital Planning and Investment Control systems, internal review boards, USA Spending, US Census bureau surveys, internal survey data, and other data sets that need to be linked together.
- Develop dashboard(s) per direction of federal staff for tracking program performance.
- Strong ability to support the Data Analysis Team by collecting, organizing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
The candidate should be a true "data junkie" – someone who thrives on diving deep into data, uncovering insights, and presenting them in a visually impactful way, irrespective of the platform. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Data Analysis Team and other stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy in all visualizations. Adaptability, willingness to explore new tools and platforms, and staying updated with the latest trends in data visualization are key.
Job requirements
Desired Skills:
- Advanced skills in data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with project management tools, Smartsheet, Tableau, ServiceNow, and Medallia.
- Hands-on experience with PowerBI.
Proficiency in designing and developing impactful dashboards.
Experience in integrating with PowerApps.
Understanding of O365 environments and how PowerBI can be seamlessly connected using PowerApps.
- Deep understanding of DAX for advanced calculations and data transformations.
- Knowledge of big data strategies and implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, or a related field.
Alternative Skills:
· Experience in creating visualizations and dashboards using Python in Jupyter notebooks.
· Familiarity with Python libraries and tools for data analysis and visualization.
· Proficiency in AI Tooling and Prompt Engineering.
